This is really soft, easy to apply shimmer pencils that highlight beautifully. The lighter shade is perfect for the corner of the eyes, nose or anywhere you want to add a nice highlight. The softer tan is also wonderful at providing color around the eye, cheeks, chin or wherever you want that subtle bronzing highlight shimmer. Really nice product. Goes on smooth and stays on the face for a long time.

This Chella Glow-on-the-Go Highlighter Makeup Pencil Kit, Set of 2, has two very shimmery pencils. One has a peachy/gold tone and one has a lighter, slightly white/silver tone. I’ve used a pencil highlighter from Chella before, so I remembered that the pencils are very pigmented, and they gleam a LOT.The pencils don’t blend as easily as I’d like; they seem to do best when I use them as targeted makeup products. I use the silvery one around the inside corners of my eyes, and that’s where I like that pencil best. The darker one seems very gold on me, but I can quickly sheer it out and use it as an eyeshadow. These work best around the eyes. I like the light color best, but I still use it judiciously so I don’t end up looking frosted instead of nicely made up.I think these pencils will last a long time; the size is nice for the price, and I like the makeup bag they came in.

This comes in a cute little zipper makeup bag. It isn’t the highest quality, but it’s nice and will get the job done. The zipper works nicely in it.You get 2 pencil highlighters – a lighter shade (a light champagne) and a darker shade (a gold). They’re standard pencils, not automatic. So they need sharpened. They’re chubby pencils, so you need a large pencil sharpener for them. They’re creamy, they glide on easily. I wanted to use these for inner corner highlights. I have really small, really hooded eyes so my inner corner is small. Applying inner corner highlight helps brighten up my eyes and make them seem a little more open and bigger. I like using a pencil because I can get it right where I want it. But, I found these to be a little chubby for my small inner corners. Also, even though they’re creamy when swiping them on, they aren’t creamy enough to just pat right where I want them. I need to swipe to get real pigment. They work well under the brow bone for that.Overall, I don’t think these are for me. I think they’re overpriced. You get 2 pencils and a makeup bag for $35. I checked to see how much the pencils retail individually and they retail for $20 each and their “everyday makeup bag” retails for $10. So if buying each item individually, it would be a total of $50, so for $35 for this set you’re definitely saving money getting it all together. But, I still think $35 is overpriced for 2 small, chubby highlighter pencils and a small makeup bag. But, we all have different ideas of what we feel is worth a certain price and what we don’t. So I don’t ever judge an item based on price. If you’ll use both shades of pencil and use them for multiple things, then I’d recommend the set. The formula is nice if you’re swiping it on. It just doesn’t dab onto an area. I give it 3 stars.

I wanted to like these but unfortunately one of mine came broken. When I went to try them they were hard to use and not smooth at all. It was like digging into my skin to get any pigment out of them. The packaging was cute though and I liked that they came in a cute bag.

This set comes in a nice small size makeup bag in the color light pink that you can use later as a small makeup bag for the time of travel. There are two highlighter pencils in this set, one in color light champagne color and one in deep bronzy shade with golden undertone. They are both very pigmented and great option to be used as highlighter or even as a shimmery eyeshadow on your eyelid.
