If you are trying to find which colour will suit you best I would recommend going a shade darker. I have medium brown eyebrows, i originally bought soft brown but i had to apply a lot of pressure and keep building it to get the colour depth i desired. So i bought the dark brown which i wouldnt usually go for, but its perfect as i barely have to apply any pressure and i get the colour i want. In the picture is a swatch of the dark brown, the top is with a lot of pressure for maximum colour, the bottom is just gentle pressure.

I always use brow pencils and with dark brown hair this was the perfect shade. The nyx brow pencils go on so smoothly and really are very buildable. You have to use a light touch to get a lighter colour and more natural look, but is easy to make into a solid colour if you wished. The brush on one end is good and I like the style with the pink ends too, not that that changes how good the product is!

It just seems like either a product goes on easily, blends in nicely and leaves my brows feeling nice and soft OR it lasts all day. This product is a great color…one of the few dark browns that I’ve found that doesn’t have ashy grey or red in it. It goes on like a dream. Soft but pigmented and brushes through without blending away to nothing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a lot of staying power. It’s inexpensive enough that reapplying isn’t a big problem but I don’t want to reapply my brows durring the day. I’ll try and find a product that seals it because I like the color and the way it brushes through so much. It’s close to the perfect brow product.
