Fenty has launched a new foundation for 2026, the Fenty Pro Filt’r Fluid Flex Natural Matte Longwear Foundation, which joins the brand’s existing Pro Filt’r complexion range.

The new formula comes in 50 shades and is designed to provide medium, buildable coverage with a natural matte finish. Fenty says it has been formulated to move with the skin while providing longwear that is resistant to sweat, humidity, transfer and water. The formula is described as lightweight and breathable, with newly fine-tuned undertones across the shade range.

I’ve been testing it and I’ve got swatches and before and after photographs below, along with a closer look at the formula, finish and how it wears on my skin.

The Packaging

The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a matte finish, and I really like the packaging. It feels simple and substantial rather than overly fussy, and the frosted-looking matte glass gives it a very luxe feel.

For £35, I think it looks and feels the part.

The Shades

There are 50 shades in the Fluid Flex range, with Fenty saying that the undertones have been fine-tuned for the new formula.

My Before & After

You can see the difference particularly well here. I was matched to 186N.

The coverage has evened everything out and the skin looks smoother and more perfected, but it hasn’t completely disguised the skin underneath.

My Verdict

I’m really enjoying this one. For me, the combination of lightweight texture, medium buildable coverage, soft-matte finish, blurring effect and excellent staying power is what makes it work so well.

It gives me the perfected look I want from a longwear foundation without feeling like I’m wearing a heavy longwear foundation.

It’s matte enough to keep the skin looking smooth and polished, but not so matte that it looks flat. There’s still some glow coming through, which makes a big difference.

It’s also the sort of foundation I can put on when I know I’m going to be out all day and not spend the rest of the day wondering what my base is doing.
