It was a long wait to get this shipped over from the US. But totally worth it.I am now in week 3 and have lost 16 pounds. But that is just the headline. I am getting to feel in control of my body, after struggling badly with early menopause for 3 years. Not only am I feeling fitter, more energetic and positive for the future but I no longer spend time obsessing about when my next meal is or what it is.The first week I found the organisation of meals etc difficult but this is now becoming a habit. I have chosen supplements that are available in the UK rather than those recommended as they are either expensive/hard to find. But with a bit of research there are comparable items over here.The majority of meals have been really tasty and TOH has been more than happy eating them too. I also haven’t been hungry once.Looking forward to getting into week 5 and starting her Carb Sensitivity Program along with a bit more exercise.

Libro molto interessante, soprattutto perchè l’autrice prende in considerazione l’influenza del sistema ormonale sul nostro metabolismo . Dettaggliati anche i nomi e le marche degli integratori consigliati, utilissimi per disintossicare con prodotti naturali i nostri organi più importanti. La lettura apre nuovi orizzonti non sempre valutati per importanza.

I don’t know what I like best about this diet — that I’ve lost some weight or that it makes me feel fantastic, both physically and mentally! Although it takes a bit of effort to get the hang of it as at first it seems so complicated, once you do, it’s really quite easy to follow as long as you are willing to make some drastic changes in your eating habits. The good news is, once you do, you will find you do not crave the foods you’ve given up. In all honesty, I have not completely followed all the recommendations in the book. I do not follow the sleep schedule, nor do I take all the supplements, which might be why may weigh loss is slow (about 1.5 pounds a week). but with that said, the results are nonetheless amazing. Within the first week my mood and motivation skyrocketed. fatigue and general aches and pains were gone. It has been four weeks now and it just gets better and better in the energy department. The greatest drawback is that some of the food is hard to find and, when found, rather expensive. This book is good for those who are wiling to make major dietary changes in order to lose weight and feel great. However, for those who are not willing to give up their coffee, artificial sweeteners, diet sodas and processed foods, it might not be for you.
