Compared to both of my Norelco trimmers (double-ended Bodygroom & also the Multi Groomer):1. It lasts 2-3X longer, before needing a recharge.2. It is a little bit quieter, when operating.3. It is significantly less expensive.Good points:1. Lasts very long on a single charge.2. Recharges pretty quick.3. The “adjustable precision dial” clipper guard is easy to use & works for nearly everything I need.4. Pretty quiet, for a trimmer.5. Still going strong over a year after purchase.6. Reasonable price.Bad point:1. The “mangroomer/bodygroom”-type head (with a foil guard & cutters at both edges) will bite you, so I don’t use it. So does the Norelco Bodygroom, occasionally, but this one is worse.

I wish I had closely read other reviews because I can now see many buyers have complained that this trimmer regularly grabs your beard hairs. Very annoying indeed!! Should be withdrawn from sale by the seller.

I have not used this trimmer long enough to rate the battery life per use, nor over the lifetime of the trimmer, so cannot really comment on that particular topic. I will update in a few months though, and up speed folks on that. As for the rest, a ONE was give due to some people not knowing where to place each attachment in the storage tray. There is a picture showing EXACTLY where each head attachment goes; expand it and you will see immediately, and precisely where everything goes. This trimmer came packaged in a high standard, and totally sanitary, too. The machine itself came packed into its own plastic bag, completely covering it, and ample oil had been put on EVERY attachment with moving parts. NO PULLING of hairs was experienced from any of the attachments, nor when using the different length shields! This is an awesome little machine from my perspective, and it fits my hand perfectly, and comfortably! It is so easy to put the attachments on and off. Read the instructions booklet that comes with the trimmer to learn how. GENTLY try doing a few times before using trimmer for first time, and you will see. I bought the machine, and have no reason to hoax a review. Simply put, it is the best little trimmer, especially for the money spent. I don’t understand the low reviews on this product. I highly recommend this to anyone who is personally meticulous. Thanks Hatteker for making a great trimmer, with a LI-ION battery to top it all off.
