My coloured hair has gone very dry after recent highlights so I’ve been trying lots of products to try and repair it. So far without much success. This treatment is unusual as you shampoo, apply this and rinse, then follow with your normal conditioner. The treatment is very creamy and leaves hair feeling silky but after only one use I can’t say how effective it is. I’ll use for a week or so and report back again.Much to my surprise my hair was noticeably softer and smoother the day after I first used the treatment. So I’m hopeful it will continue to help my hair. Very pleased with it.

Extremely pleased with this product – using this has made a real difference to my hair.Firstly, nice solid packaging designed, no doubt, to appeal to men and women; wholesome ingredients; not tested on animals; lovely smell.The treatment is to be used after shampooing ones hair and before finishing with your usual conditioner. After washing your hair in the usual way, squeeze out as much water as possible then add some of the Power Base treatment to your hair (I use about the same amount of the product as I would my usual conditioner). It is recommended you leave this on for at least two minutes but I like to leave it on for about ten. Rinse (it rinses out very easily) and then use your usual conditioner.I have used this treatment once a week for the last three weeks on my colour-damaged hair and I have really noticed an improvement. Without wishing to sound too fanciful – my hair feels much more ‘youthful’, has more ‘body’ and seems easier to style.At first glance this product seems quite expensive but a little goes a long way, this bottle will last some while.

As a vegetarian I like to use products that are not tested on animals. So when I saw this on Amazon Vine, I wanted to give it a go. Whilst a lot of products promise great results I’ve often been let down by their less than stellar performance so I wasn’t expecting too much when I tried thiis and partly thought that it would be a fairly expensive gimicky product that others would say was great when it was no better than cheaper products as if a placebo effect were within.So I used the product for a week and wanted to let you know what I thought. Firstly, whilst it was used in conjunction with my normal shampoo and conditioner, I have to say that my hair felt softer with the colour that I’d had done recently feeling more natural and left my hair not feeling as straw like as it can often do so. Add to this an obvious shine and when added to what also felt like stronger hair, all round made me adjust my opinion. Its a good product and whilst expenseive is defintiely something to utilise, if perhaps not all the time, shortly after having had some sort of hair treatment done. Yes it is pricey, but when we’re coming up to seasonal party season, you really want something that will make a difference and help give you another dimension to your party outfit. Great all round and one I’ll defintiely be purchasing again.
