I don’t know why this product is rated 3.9. I’ve used this to tone brown hair as well as mahogany. The toner helps conceal dead ends along with a general color refresh. Absolutely worth it! (I leave it in for over an hour vs the recommended time as that just wasn’t long enough)

My natural hair colour is a dishwater blonde. Went to hairdresser for highlights, asked for a warm, buttery, honey blonde and instead got a cool, ashy platinum that washed me out. This toner turned it right around, and now I have the colour I wanted all along!I used the Caramel on towel dried hair the first time for about 8 minutes. It gave my hair a warmer, golden tone that was soft and well-conditioned. I had no issues with colour staining my hands or skin. The second time, I used it for only 5 minutes and the colour is perfect. There is a hint of a ‘peachy’ tone on a couple of highlighted sections, so I will be careful not to use it too frequently or for too long. Overall very satisfied. It saved me an expensive return trip to the salon! Would recommend.
