Fles zat open in de doos en heeft gelekt.
Slechte zaak dat de fles geopend in de doos zat. Er is shampoo uit.Verder weet ik uit ervaring dat de shampoo zelf wel goed werkt. Maar je moet het wel minstens 45 minuten laten inwerken. En bij de tweede keer soppen nog een keer 45 minuten. (Ik had geen effect toen ik het korter deed.)Ik heb bruin haar met blonde highlights. Met name mijn bruine haar had een opvallend oranje gloed. Die wordt met het gebruik van deze shampoo steeds minder. Tevreden.Behalve over de verzending.

Bit of back story- I have used henna for about 12 years over what was once strawberry blonde hair. I’m now an ash blonde with a scattering of white hairs and I was ready to try and grow out natural, before I grey more and it gets harder.First off, I started gradually lightening the bulk of the darker, almost maroon hair with spray in lightener (go super careful with this). I would spritz damp hair with it, wrap in a plastic cap and leave for a couple of hours before rinsing and conditioning. I did this once a week for around four weeks.I also did a couple of VERY STRONG citric acid rinses in between.Eventually, I felt I couldn’t strip the colour any more without incurring severe damage, so I decided it was time to tone.I was left with ashy roots, followed by a yellowish band, followed by the orange (the majority of the bum-length hair).Firstly I washed my hair with shampoo, towel dried and then slathered on the Fanola, foaming it through. I left it on for 20 mins and rinsed.I could see the flaming orange had subsided, but not enough.I dried my hair completely, and then applied fanola again. This time I DID NOT lather, but painted it on thick, as though it were hair dye. I left this on for another 20 mins before rinsing and using a very, very heavy deep conditioner.The end result is very good and I am amazed. It has blended my multiple bands of colours beautifully.Caution- this stuff is pretty drying. I’ve damp-oiled my hair, slathered on leave in conditioner and braided it all up. I’ll leave this hairstyle in for at least a week to give the hair a rest.I’m thinking that this stuff does a little more than just depositing a blue pigment; I suspect it also strips some colour, much like a clarifying shampoo or citric acid.

I bought the blue one instead of purple because my hair was veering towards more orange than yellow.After a few washes I do see a modest effect. It’s not going to miraculously eliminate all the brassiness.The product smells pretty good, is cheap, very pigmented and leaves my hair feeling nice.For reference, I have straight medium/fine level 7 hair, a kinda oily scalp. I also have lots of it and it’s just under hip length but luckily you get a lot of product. I’d say it’d last more than 2 months depending on your wash schedule it could be more.Be careful with staining your hands. You can wear gloves just scrub a bit more if you don’t mind.
