I’ll just detail my personal experience of using the product.First off, this product should be introduced slowly into a skincare routine (e.g., 2-3 times a week) gradually increasing to every evening as tolerated. As I’m used to Retinoid products, I did use daily from day one, but I advise others to use follow the directions and build up gradually. I had no adverse effects, but I don’t have sensitive skin.The treatment is of a lightweight, creamy texture. The formula is designed to absorb quickly, leaving no greasy residue, and is suitable for most skin types, especially those familiar with retinoid use. It has a yellow tinge but this disappears once absorbed into the skin.For morning use I apply after cleansing and toning but before moisturising. It is strongly advised to use a sunscreen over the top as Retinoid can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight. After applying the sunscreen I then go ahead and apply makeup.For evening use, again apply after cleansing and toning but before moisturising.I like the way the treatment leaves my skin feeling hydrated even before applying moisturiser. It leaves my skin looking and feeling smooth which is the best I can hope for at my age.As with all beauty treatments, results will vary wildly from person to person, but one can probably expect gradual but noticeable improvements with continued use over time.True to Paula’s Choice values, this treatment is not tested on animals and contains no added fragrances, making it ideal for sensitive skin or those who avoid synthetic scents. This is a big plus!

Paula’s Choice is an iconic brand which uses powerful ingredients and formulations to target particular skin concerns. This particular product offers a dual function, namely to help improve ageing skin as well as a clearer complexion.This has a light creamy texture and is yellow in colour. It only takes a couple of pumps to cover my face and it feels really nice on my skin. As with any retinoid, if you aren’t used to them start of using just once or twice a week and build up the frequency of use over a few weeks. I am used to retinoids but still started off just using it twice a week before increasing to every other night just to be sure my skin was tolerating this particular formulation. I have had no adverse reactions to it.While it has a light creamy texture, it leaves my skin feeling nicely nourished. My skin feels smoother and softer and looks brighter. It’s too soon to say what the longer term benefits will be with regards to its anti ageing claims but my skin does look clearer and feels really nice. Always remember to use SPF daily when using retinoids as they can make skin more sensitive to UV rays.
