I didn’t actually order these for my fingernails. I ordered them to use on my wooden models. I love making book nook models. The pieces for my models are printed out on MDF wood and then are punched out of each sheet of pieces. When I punch the pieces out there are little nibs that stick out of the piece that aren’t the same color as the rest of that edge. I use these small emery boards to remove those nibs and then I stain the side to match the rest of the edges of the piece. These small emery boards work great. I’ve sanded around 40 pieces today and all those pieces had several nibs each. I’ve only used the first emery board and it’s not worn out yet. I’ll get a lot of use out of these. They’re very sturdy with their wood core. The size is perfect for my small pieces. I did take that same first emery board to my fingernails and it worked great. I have very strong nails and tend to wear out other emery boards. I like that there are 2 different grits on these boards. That was handy for my model and for my fingernails. These are a great value and I’m glad I was able to find such a small size. Even with my big hands I’m able to use them easily. Great product and it gets my recommendation.
