If you haven’t used a clipless iron before, make sure you are familiar with how it works before ordering. Without the clip, you have to hand roll your hair onto the iron. Depending on your hair type, this can be somewhat easy or very challenging without burning your hand. The supplied glove is a very basic fabric material that provides minimal heat resistance. Product did come very well packaged, and a silicone mat was included. The detachable iron feature is nice if you need the extra space by separating the pieces. Unit heated up to a good working temperature, but I was unable to use with much success without risking burns to my hand.So – if you like clip free designs, this may be for you. If you haven’t used one before, this may not be a good fit.

For the price this is a fantastic curler, comes with everything you need for use and safety. Easy to use and does a great job at curling hair, heats up well and sufficient. Id say its definitely more suited for people with shorter hair rather than long but overall its a great curler for the price. Can’t go wrong with it!

I have the 32mm barrel version of this. Just to mention though, mine is a brown/copper colour barrel with the same colour button on the handle, not the pink colour seen in the brand photos on the product page.It comes nicely boxed, inside which you get the curling wand itself with cable and UK 3-pin wall plug, instruction manual, two large hair sectioning clips, heat glove, and a hot pink mini silicone heat mat. It’s a well-rounded set with those added extras which is great, and I think it makes it very giftable, too.The barrel slots into the handle easily then locks in place. Being able to do that makes the product very compact, so good for travel. To use, plug it in and simply move the button lever up. That’s the only point of control so you use that one button to turn it off or push it up for lower heat and up again for higher heat. I like how simple and user-friendly it is, no faff and no extra bells and whistles, it just focuses on doing the job as conveniently as possible.It’s quite large overall but it’s still slimline. The barrel isn’t too bulky so it’s comfortable to hold, and the barrel is just wide enough that you should, in theory anyway, be able to get nice beach waves from it, and it’s long enough to do longer hair below shoulder length.The low temp isn’t actually low, it’s 180℃, which is very decent. High is 210℃, so pretty decent options for perhaps thinner and thicker hair. The barrel is ceramic-coated, which should help with reducing frizz and giving hair a smooth finish, which I’d say it does. It’s supposed to heat up in around 30 seconds.Not having clips to faff with is, I find, a good bit easier. You do need to hold your hair in place of course but the glove makes that a bit safer to do. I’m rubbish with doing just about anything with my hair but I managed to get some good curls straight away with this one, slightly tighter ones rather than beachy waves though but well formed and without frizz. I wasn’t convinced the style lasted too long but then again, I’ve found that most times so I’d still follow-up with a hairspray to help hold the curls for longer.I think the price (£19.99 at the time of writing) is very reasonable seeings as the quality seems decent enough and it works surprisingly well.
