I bought this hair dye because I like a vibrant colour, something just slightly different.For me it’s perfect. I used to have thick dark brown hair which is now thick white hair. The mystic violet dye turns it a dark rich brown which shines purple in the sunlight. I find it just modern enough at my age without, hopefully, making me look like an idiot. I do think the colour on the box is a tad misleading – if you’re looking for a bright purple hair dye I really don’t think this is suitable.Since I started using this colour I’ve had a number of spontaneous compliments about how shiny and full my hair looks – in particular, people can’t believe I’ve dyed it at home.I wash my hair every day and the dye begins to lose its depth at exactly the time when my roots need doing, so for me the Mystic Violet shade works well.In the past I’ve had to pay as much as £7 in Boots for a single pack of this dye so at this price for three it’s a real bargain.Suitable for those who want a rich dark colour with a purplish sheen.

Mes.cheveux sont devenus vert et la base était très blonde. Et j’ai mis 2 tubes pour bien recouvrir les cheveux. Je ne retenterai pas.

Having darkish brown hair gets boring….along came Live Purple and it certainly made my hair look far more vibrant and shiny. I think it said on the box it will only work on blonde hair? Fortunately, this is not the case and brunettes will enjoy the result too

First time using this product and I found it really good. My hair is bleached but my hair dresser wouldn’t put a toner through it this time so I used this instead as I have highlights with some of my natural hair colour still remaining, I didn’t want to turn that orange using a toner at home.Anyway, it’s turned out really nicely. Good even coverage. My hair is very thick so I did have to use two tubes. It goes on looking blue but washed out it’s a silver tone which is really nice and I hope it lasts.Overall it’s a good product and reasonably priced.
