Not true to shade!
I’ve used Manic Panic Ultra Violent dozens of times in the US to make my bleached hair silvery purple. This Ultra Violet formulation which I’ve purchased from the NL Amazon is purple in the jar but when on bleached hair is BLUE and fades to green after two washes. Shockingly disappointing. I’m honestly not even sure if this blue-green color is better than just keeping my hair bleach yellow.

Le gel colorant est facile à poser, sent peu et bon, et a un effet soin indéniable.La couleur que je recherchais était “ultraviolet”.Après une forte décoloration (chez la coiffeuse), j’ai suivi les instructions d’utilisation, et ai obtenu un improbable mais très joli bleu avec quelques nuances proches du violet. Après 4 shampoings, la couleur bien que passée, reste très lumineuse.Il a fallu 2 pots entiers pour ma chevelure plutôt épaisse.Je sus ravie par la qualité du produit, bien qu’un peu perplexe sur l’origine du bleu.

To start off… I work in an indoor greenhouse with harsh UV lighting. This lighting fades any fashion color super fast.I must say I have had this product in my hair for almost 2 weeks and it looks just as bright as it did when I dyed it. I started with a level 7 (dark blonde) at the root and maybe 8-9 (lighter blonde) at the ends. My hair was yellow/orangey in some spots. The Ultra violet perfectly covered all of my hair. Even the darker spots. It’s a nice cooler purple but does not have any funky blue or grays in it. I have tried other purples from different brands and they always end up warm and pink due to the warmer tones in my hair. I am so impressed by this product!This product did not dry my hair out at all. I ordered a two pack since I have waist-length hair (but it is also on the finer side). One jar was just enough. I left it on for about 45-60 minutes.I definitely recommend this dye if you are looking for a cooler tone, true violet.

It’s only day 1 of my using this, so I haven’t washed my hair yet and cannot vouch for how long it would last! But I am really pleased with the result so far. No rubbing off on my fingers or clothes as others experienced. I left it on my hair for 3 hours and washed it off with shampoo, even though I saw some recommendations not to wash it off with shampoo. Used conditioner after that and my hair feels smoother and softer than before! Ultraviolet on my lightly bleached hair was a beautiful purple, not neon or bright, but the type of purple shade you’d see from a traditional purple colored pencil. Love it.

Très déçu, moi qui voulais tester une couleur semi-permanente…. Qui ne tient pas sur mes cheveux blancs, j’avais choisi une couleur violette, et mon crâne est devenu bleu, mes cheveux blancs sont restés blancs avec des reflets légèrement bleutés, le reste de mes cheveux qui sont bruns, sont restés bruns sans aucun reflets. J’ai fait 3 shampooings en frottant bien et c’est casi tout parti. Je pensais que pour un produit végan il n’y aurait pas d’odeur, mais il y avait une odeur comme les couleurs chimiques. Donc ce produit n’a vraiment rien pour lui. Je ne le recommande pas du tout !
