I love this serum. It performs very good and less expensive. It brightens your complexion which is what I love about it. It’s a staple in my skincare routine.
Diabolical Duo –
This serum has a nice gel texture that glides smoothly over skin. It absorbs well, but did leave a little stickiness in areas that were more oily. I didn’t notice any huge difference after about 5 days of using, but it did hydrate well. I expect that it would take longer to notice a difference in the brightness of my skin. The problem I had is that it made my t-zone break out worse than normal. I typically have some small white heads in my t-zone, but this seemed to really aggravate the area and make my acne worse. I’m going to take a break from it for awhile and come back to it and see if it makes my acne worse once my skin has had some time to recover. It really did seem to boost hydration of my combination skin though, so I didn’t want to knock it too many stars because I don’t think the serum caused my breakout, I just think my skin did not appreciate the additional hydration. It has a light, pleasant scent. I think that it would be great for someone who doesn’t have very sensitive skin and would likely provide good benefit. The pump is easy to use and allows for a good amount to be dispensed without mess. I really wish my skin wasn’t so finicky because I was excited to use this serum.
