I don’t do a lot of makeup reviews because I don’t wear a lot of makeup. I do wear mascara so I decided to try this. The price is really high. The eye shadow didn’t really look great on me. It has too much red in it. Red tinted tones don’t look great on my eyes. The glitter in it though is really sparkly and looked pretty. The eye shadow seems like a good quality eye shadow. I was disappointed it did not come with a mirror in the compact or a brush to apply the shadow. At this price, I would have thought it would. The mascara smelled really nice. That is not always the case with some mascaras. This one had a really nice smell though. It was really wet and thin like. It went on well, but I had to be careful because it was easy to get it on my eyelids. It did not do much for my thin light colored eyelashes. I usually try to buy mascara that makes my eyelashes appear fuller. This mascara looked nice, but I would have preferred a fuller look. I probably won’t buy this myself, but I will use it since I was able to get it through Vine.

This eyeshadow could use some more pigment, but that sparkle is to die for!!! It’s like paparazzi is in your eyeshadow….my goodness, that makes the shadow worthy of a spot on my lids. The mascara is nice, but could use more volume. The length was definitely improved (after 3 coats), but more volume would have boosted the total eye look. I would say that the mascara is good for everyday, but being paired with the sparkle of that eyeshadow in a set called “Diva” and at this price point, definitely calls for a more glamorous effect. The packaging also does not reflect the price point. There is no mirror in the compact and the mascara container is basic. I do like the brush on the wand of the mascara, but it was hard to grasp my small lashes, so the mascara is only visible on my longer upper lashes and my inner corner and lower lashes are lackluster. There are soooo many other products with similar/better performing formulas and more creative packaging on the market, and at lower price points, so I unfortunately, I don’t recommend this product. #ClassIsDismissed

In its little pot the eyeshadow looked quite red to me, and on my inner forearm it looked bronze— with lots of sparkles. I’m over 50, so I usually consider myself too old for a whole lot of sparkle. But I put this on my eyelids with my finger anyway, and it turned beautifully sparkly light brown. A little liquid black eyeliner, the corresponding mascara, and a smudge of a glittery medium brown eyeshadow crayon under my lower lashes and I had a gorgeous brown facsimile of a smoky eye. Which is way better and more sophisticated than anything I usually do with my eye makeup, so I was super excited with the results— because it was EASY. The mascara I’m not sure about yet. I tend to wear my eye makeup for literally days, and my old dual layer tubing mascara could handle it. This one just disappeared overnight. It didn’t end up on my pillow or under my eyes, but it was gone. When I first put it on, I was disappointed in the first coat, but more ok with it after three or so coats. I have long and thick natural lashes (to the point I sometimes have to pluck them out of my eyelids when they run wild.). So in summary— the eyeshadow is to die for. The mascara— I’ve had multiple better for my eyelashes.Note that in the picture that I’m not showing the eyeshadow color. I was trying to show my spiky-ish eyelashes, which are perfectly capable of looking *much* better than this.

The EvaGarden shadow+mascara combo is an simple yet beautiful duo.The eyeshadow comes in a compact with no mirror. The shadow has bronze shimmer and silver glitter specks; this duo finish really looks like you used more shadows and put in more effort. The eyelook looks dimensional and not at all flat but it looks even better if you use this with a deeper transition shade in the crease. The shadow applies better with a fluffy brush or directly with your finger if you want full opacity.The mascara is very thin. It’s lengthening but not very volumizing. It doesn’t layer well and it’s very easy to get spider lashes if you aren’t careful. The wand is nice it separates the lashes nicely. If you want more drama I’d combine it with a volumizing mascara. I didn’t get any smudging but I did get a few flakes.Overall this is a quick and easy combo that gives a beautiful result.

The eye shadow has great pigment and wears very well (although a little too glittery for my aged eyes), but what really sets this duo apart is the mascara! I’ve been using a popular high-end tubing mascara for a while now, but this mascara actually puts that one to shame. Just two coats of this mascara makes my lashes super long with no clumping like the other one does. It wears very well with no smudging or smearing, and it totally removes with facial cleanser. I would get this duo for the mascara, at least, if not both.
