Have used this product for years – it gives a slight tint & a naturally glossy look to lips which is perfect when you want to look natural but soignée.

This product only had 3 stars when I first tried it. For me, that made it kind of a risky purchase, especially for the price. But I read through the reviews and took a chance on it and I’m glad I did. I rave about this stuff to family and friends. It lasted a good stretch of time. I use it as part of my makeup routine, before my foundation so my lips have time to absorb it before anything else goes on my lips. I can see the difference by the time I start on lipstick or gloss. My lips take on a pinker/darker color than usual and my lips get a bit fuller. Since I wear makeup everyday for work, I can say the effect improves over time as well as the instant result. It goes away if you stop using it of course, but that’s expected. It does have a smell that sort of reminds me of grandma somehow but it’s not terrible and it doesn’t last, so I don’t count it as much of a negative.I saw a review or two that said this product dried out their lips? I didn’t experience this. Maybe it’s all in how you use it? I’m not using it like chapstick, just as a part of my makeup routine. I HAVE used it to recover from a bad case of chapped lips faster in the past back when I wore makeup less and too very haphazard care of my skin and lips and I was back to normal by the next day.I don’t typically write reviews but with this being my new go to and how chancy my first buy was, it didn’t sit right with me to not leave my recommendation when rebuying it.
