Hoe EmaxDesign Make-upborstels schoon te maken:
1. Laat de borstelharen van de borstel onder warm stromend water lopen.
2. Breng een kleine hoeveelheid zachte shampoo aan op de borstelharen en werk tot een licht schuim.
3. Spoel de borstelharen grondig af onder stromend water. U zult merken dat het water dat de borstel verlaat, getint is van oude make-up.
4. Ga door met spoelen totdat er geen kleur op de borstel achterblijft.
5. Laat de borstel aan de lucht drogen.

Its smaller than expected and a lot of repeated brushes but its great value for the price.Pros:- A lot of brushes for the price- Softer than expected which is great- Chart to identify the brushes- The packaging is clean- Great for beginners / TravelCons- Smaller & shorter than expected but easy to travel with.- After awhile the bristles do come apart but you get what you paid for and for the value its great. Also there’s plenty of repeat brushes which makes it good preplacement brushes.Overall : its a great product if your a beginner and don’t want to spend too much on brushes.

Come si intuisce dall’immagine, i pennelli sono tutti abbastanza piccoli, tranne uno, e perciò, anche se sono 20, non coprono tutta la gamma di pennelli di cui una persona potrebbe aver bisogno per truccarsi. Se questo set costasse tanto, cioè avesse un costo allineato con i vari set di pennelli che si trovano in commercio, forse non lo consiglierei… ma siccome costa così poco, e la qualità dei pennelli è buona.. perché no?Io non sono una professionista e ammetto che alcuni dei pennellini non li sto proprio usando, per il semplice fatto che sono pennelli “di precisione” (adatti a realizzare linee sottili, ecc.) e io non realizzo quasi mai su me stessa make-up così elaborati.Insomma, alcuni pennelli sono un po’ “ridondanti”,.. se non siete dei professionisti, forse vi sembreranno tutti uguali! Ma, appunto, costano così poco, e se sapete che anche solo due o tre di quei pennelli vi servono… ne vale già la pena!I pennelli “sfumini” per gli occhi sono quelli che ho apprezzato di più perché sono abbastanza rigidi e risultano ottimi per stendere gli ombretti in crema. Non si rovinano se lavati.Un’altra cosa molto comoda è la dimensione dei pennelli (lunghezza e spessore del manico): sono sottili e abbastanza corti, non tolgono spazio utile nella trousse quando si viaggia!

In this set you get an excellent variety of brushes to apply your makeup with. There are 3 brushes that are dual ended. As make makeup enthusiast I was particularly pleased with that. Although the brushes don’t have numbers printed on them, to tell you what each individual brush is used for. EmaxDesign does include a reference card with a picture of each brush on one side and on the other side, there is a list that explains what each brush is.When I received the brushes they did have a chemical odor, which doesn’t bother me. I have had more than one set of makeup brushes arrive like that. I think it’s because they spray them with something to keep them protected while in storage and during the shipping process. It’s an easy fix to that anyway. Before you wash them just remove them from their protective plastic sleeves and let them sit for 2-3 days and then wash them. I know we all want to try out our new makeup toys right away (pretty much as soon as we open the box) but trust me, just try it. Ultra-Fine LinerThese brushes really surprised me. I didn’t expect them to perform like they do. They are very soft and glide nicely across my skin. My favorites are the foundation brush, the angled eyebrow/eyeshadow brushes and the ultra fine liner. The angled brushes are really firm. I was able to clean up around the top and bottom of my brows easily with out the brush slipping and going through my brows instead along the edges of them. Plus they were great to trace my brows with my pomade before filling them in. The ultra-fine liner works amazingly well for applying gel eyeliner. I’m not that great at doing that, but it was lot easier and I did a better job of it with the liner brush from this set.I also really like the size of the handles especially on the smaller brushes. They are very slim and easy to maneuver in your hands. It really makes flipping the dual ended brushes around in your fingers easier.I like pretty toys and these are lovely looking. I like the shiny black ferrule and the handles are matte black. I look to customer reviews when I’m shopping on Amazon too. The quality of these brushes are great and I like the results I get when I use them. They clean well and the ferrules are as tight as a drum on every single brush. I’m ordering a backup set.Cleaning Tip: Don’t soak or submerge your brushes in water or brush cleaner. It will make your ferrules loose and cause mildew. Wash them with the hairs pointing downward under the tap and squeeze the water out also while pointing the brush downward. If you don’t have a drying rack. Lay them on a towel to dry. Don’t put them in a cup right side up to dry because that can cause mildew also. I’m not a beauty guru or expert.
