My 2 daughters (aged 9 & 15) love these – I’ve had to divide them up between the both of them! For the most part, the appeal is definitely in the rather cute bottle shapes – each is shaped like a little popsicle stick.As a lip gloss, each has a soft applicator so they’re easy to apply. The consistency is a little between a gloss and a lip balm and they seem to do a good job of keeping lips soft.My kids haven’t had any issues with irritation whilst using them.Each has a bit of a scent – fruity and quite pleasant, plus there’s a slight touch of colour. My 15 year old especially likes these as she’s not into wearing lots of male up, so these are nice and subtle.It’s a lovely little set – the bottle shapes are very appealing, the gloss works well and overall they’d make a lovely gift idea 🙂

My granddaughter LOVES this set and thinks all smell good. She like choosing her “shade” to put in her purse when she leaves the house. The containers are just the right size for small kids and super cute! This is the type of gift I like to embellish gift wrap with by taping one of them on top of a wrapped gift. Love these!

This is a cute little set of lip gloss. The bottles are shaped like little ice cream bars with mini bites taken out of each one. They come in glass jars, which is not great because of the risk of breakage, but it does give them a very nice appearance. The glass bottles look very nice, and are transparent, so you can see the glittery lip gloss inside.The lip gloss itself has a very pleasant smell- each one smells a little different, depending on the colors, but they are all fruity- types smells. The lip gloss goes on smoothly and doesn’t clump. It makes lips shiny but not overly showy- this is a gloss, but won’t take the place of an actual lipstick. They do have a slightly waxy taste if you get some into your mouth by accident, but it isn’t too objectionable- it’s about like eating chapstick.Mouth feel: The lip gloss has a slightly waxy feel when putting it on your lips. It’s not super pleasant, at first. However, after a few minutes, it kind of absorbs in a bit, and is less waxy feeling. This did keep my lips moisturized for about a couple of hours before it wore off.The applicator is a little soft bit of cloth on the end of the “popsicle” stick. The cap does screw off easily, but be aware that the little ice cream stick end just pulls right off, so it can get lost easily.There isn’t much lip gloss in each one, at all, making this a very expensive set of lip gloss. It would be ok as a gift item, if you have someone in your life who loves lip gloss. However, this is only about dollar store quality, but somewhat more expensive. You’re really going for the pretty bottles, rather than the lip gloss here. The lip gloss is ok, but not amazing when comparing price to quality.

A set of six lip glosses for girls in six slightly different tastes and colours. The lip glosses are in cute ice cream style containers which needed to be used with care as they are glass bottles. One of the best sets for value for money that l have come across and l had a few of these sets for our granddaughter over the years as she loves using them as part of her getting ready for a play date routine!This set will make an ideal stocking filler at Christmas and is easy to wrap and is a lovely presentation box. Five stars for presentation and value for money.
