I just got back from 8 straight days of being on a beach in Hawaii. I burn soooo easily I was worried the 50 spf would be too little. But, I don’t want to use the harsh chemical sunscreens any longer. I was looking for a natural sunscreen that was also safe for the coral reefs. I liked that this one had lots of natural oils in it, so it’s good for me and the sea. In the heat it was quite soft and pretty easy to spread. Not only did the salt water not dry out my skin, but I came home with a lovely tan! I don’t know why it’s called a “kids” sunscreen. It should be called “great for the whole family” sunscreen. My husband and I are close to 64 and we love it. I don’t speak fluent sea cucumber, but I’m pretty sure the one I saw while snorkeling said, “Thanks for keeping me safe.” I highly recommend this sunscreen.

I bought this product looking for a reef friendly option that works. It arrived quickly and as pictured. I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate. I used it while visiting Belize and it protected me well. Not one burn. The stick format allowed me to pass through customs with one less liquid to claim which mattered in a carry-on only situation. Aside from it working, being eco friendly, and easily stored, my only complaint is the thickness of the product when applied. It’s a white cast and it’s difficult to rub in. Especially on legs and arms. It sits on top a bit and you can see it on your pores. I don’t mind so much as a pale person, but anyone with more melanin is likely going to find this annoying and unattractive. I looked like a ghost. But I didn’t burn! The sunscreen that is going to work best for you is going to be the one you use. This one might be more for the kids.
