Rosa Watercolor
I am an illustrator. I use watercolors a lot in my works and have tried many watercolor brands. Initially, I took Rosa watercolors individually in pans from the latest series. I was impressed by the colors jade green, carbon black, cobalt gray. I constantly use these colors in my works. I admit honestly, I had high expectations from the box of single-pigment watercolors Rosa Gallery. The box says that these are professional watercolors, but I would rather classify its quality as student or amateur watercolors. What I did not like, firstly, the quality of the paints from pan to pan. What I mean is that one pan, when washed, can behave like a hard pebble, another like soft toffee stretching behind the brush. The paint layer dries unevenly, in some places the color disappears, in others there are ugly streaks and an inappropriate honey shine. The second point is the paint consumption, I did several colorings, two small works and I already don’t have half of the 741 cobalt turquoise cuvette. The choice of palette for illustrator is not entirely successful in my opinion. The palette has wonderful pink and blue shades, as many as three yellows on one pigment, which give more or less the same shade, umbra 722 is muddy in my opinion, pretty 733 burnt sienna, ugly purple 710 and green 711. There is no single-pigment black or dark blue, so you have to constantly mix it yourself, and for large works it is not convenient and the paint is very much consumed. I liked the metal box, the palette is convenient. my verdict, to avoid getting upset once again, buy paints individually, check the color charts in art stores and if this is your first watercolor, buy an empty Rosa Gallery box and choose paints individually, and if you need a ready-made palette, take a look at the Van Gogh brand of paints.

Just bought my 3th set of 28 pans because I’m so in love with the quality and the colors.Many (semi-) transparant colors which I love with watercolor paint.Very satisfied!

Rȯse es una marca de acuarelas ucraniana que fabrica sus productos en Ucrania. Tienen varias calidades, y ésta es la profesional.Elegí este conjunto (el clásico) por su precio y porque es el que tenía más pigmentos puros (no mezcla) de los de 28 godets que oferta Amazon en este momento. Y la verdad es que estuve mucho tiempo dudando entre este set y el de 21 monopigmento, que no descarto acabar comprando al final.La caja trae 28 cazuelas/godets enteros, no queda espacio para meter más (la verdad es que ahora que lo pienso no me he parado a mirar si cabrían cazuelas de medio godet en el espacio de en medio), en dos hileras separadas por un espacio en el que uno puede guardar varios pinceles, o una esponja, bueno, o lo que sea.Respecto a los pigmentos vienen muy finamente picados lo que les da un mejor comportamiento. Son pigmentos unidos solamente con 100% goma arábiga natural, sin otros aditivos que puedan afectarles, intensos, de muy buena calidad. Lo único es la cantidad: las cazuelas no vienen llenas a rebosar como pasa en algunas otras marcas, así que la cantidad puede ser tal vez algo menor (se supone que 2.5ml/godet, como en White Nights, frente a posiblemente 3.2ml en algunas otras marcas). Pero teniendo en cuenta el precio y la calidad, sigue siendo una auténtica ganga.La tapa de la caja de latón esmaltado se puede usar como paleta de mezclas además de la paleta que trae incorporada y con su tamaño resulta super práctica. En mi caso llegó en perfecto estado, sin abolladuras ni defectos.Todo el conjunto impresiona por su calidad y atención al detalle. Los godets vienen todos envueltos en papel con una parte autoadhesiva. La idea es que uno quite la envoltura con cuidado y luego vuelva a fijar las solapas con la información a los lados de la cazuela (o quite solo la parte de arriba), y así conserva la información de cada pigmento con su recipiente. El recipiente, por cierto, viene grabado por abajo con el logo de la marca, lo que refleja el alto nivel de atención al detalle que se nota en todos los componentes del producto.En resumen, un conjunto de acuarelas de calidad profesional con un montón de colores muy finamente molidos y con solo goma arábiga natueal como aditivo, en gran cantidad (son godets completos, no medios gogets), de muy alta calidad, con una gran atención al detalle, y todo por un precio asombroso.¡Y encima, hechas a mano con todas las garantías, y en Ucrania!¿Qué más se le puede pedir?

Nice presentation box , good quality paints and @ a decent price .I have the 21 pan set in metal case as well as this tube set ,and I’m enjoying using them .These are definitely not student paint , they are professional grade and really vibrant .Would definitely recommend giving these a go
