This is my first time trying a heated eyelash curler, so I do not have anything to compare it to. However, I’ve used many eye lash curlers without heat over the years. This one works well enough, and does heat up quite well. I do find it lacking in grip, and my eye lashes don’t curl that easily. However, the heat does make up for that somewhat. I’ve found if I use it twice on each eye I get a great curl. It just takes some time to do so.The build is cheap and thin plastic, so I’m not sure how long it will hold up, but for the price I’d say I am happy with it overall. If I am careful not to drop it, I think it will hold up ok. I like the fact that it is battery operated and does not seem to go through batteries too fast so far. It does not pinch my eyes and is pretty simple to use. It also has a heat sensitive silicon pad that changes color when it’s ready to use. Which is pretty handy since you have to hold the switch while you use it. It would be nice if it just had an on and off switch so it could heat up while you are prepping something else.

This had decent reviews, but I am telling you — it does NOT NOT NOT curl you lashes in any lasting way.I am really disappointed.DO NOT waste your money on this.I would not recommend.Metal lash curlers work better.I am a really small girl, so I need a child-size one, which I have yet to find.
