I would highly recommend this book. As an Indian girl who has been raised on Ayurvedic teachings from my grandparents, I can relate to so much of what Ananta shares, whilst learning so much at the same time. It’s written in a very friendly and accessible way – one that you can actually enjoy reading at any time of the day and not feel like you’re being overloaded with information. I haven’t been able to put it down since it arrived and I know I’ll be dipping in and out of it a lot. It’s fascinating learning about an age-old system, which modern day research confirms. Big thumbs up.

I have read and studied many books on Ayurveda and I simply can’t recommend this book enough! It is an authentic sharing, not only of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedanta, but of the author’s own personal experiences and wisdom with the knowledge. The chapters and structure are well thought out and easy to follow. And it is beautiful! It’s such a delight to gaze upon the beautiful colors and photos – you feel like you learning the wisdom alongside the author surrounded by nature. Ananta grounds the information so anyone can understand the principles and this is why I will be giving many of these to friends at Christmastime. It’s a perfect combination of nature, nurture, and spirituality. Her heartfelt writing of her Guru and ancestors also gave me faith that there is a genuine wish to help humanity and a Dharmic path that she is following. Ayurveda can be complicated, but it can also be simple too. And I found in my own life, that when I consistently followed the simple basics, my health improved. Nothing is more important than your basic health, and Ananta has made that goal achievable with this book. Thank you Ananta!

This book wonderfully presents quite a lot of Ayurveda knowledge in an accessible and inspiring way. Despite being a quick-ish read, the information has depth. It has recipes, skincare recipes, and some yoga asanas as well. It’s lovingly, sincerely and thoughtfully presented.Note to amazon: the earlier reviewer gave a one star not for the book but for his/her problems downloading the kindle version. This is really unfair to the writer and book – please delete feedback when it doesn’t relate to the content itself and/or teach your customers to complain to amazon directly for a download problem! I don’t usually write reviews but did so in this instance to pull up the unfair ratings for the book.
