This product stained my clothing. It’s not a clear sunscreen. In addition, it doesn’t work well. I reapplied multiple times and still burned.

This was very different in texture from the facial sunscreen I have been using successfully of late. I have sensitive skin so I’m fairly picky about what I can wear, and this offered no problems on that front. It had a mild, pleasant scent that I stopped noticing almost as soon as I applied it. The color was a very light beige, but the color disappeared into my skin when it was fully rubbed in.But this was thicker than the lightweight sunscreen I usually use, and no matter how long I rubbed it never completely felt absorbed. My skin stays a little sticky all day and the stickiness translates into an oily feeling in my hair. The shiny appearance takes an hour or so to fade. I haven’t tried it at the beach yet but I have visions of sand gluing itself to me. I wanted to like this — it’s more economical than my usual stuff, and I like to encourage the reef-safe options out there — but it’s never going to be a favorite. And for “kids”? If it’s that sticky on me, my kids aren’t going to like it, either. We will still USE this, but we won’t replace it with the same when it’s gone.

Super moisturizing! Wonderfully melts into skin and surprisingly leaves no cast or color (however I’m pretty pale so unsure about all skin tones). More on the oily finish but it’s mild. Really makes my skin feel smooth and soft but probably more of an oily finish than I’d use on my face. Definitely on body though and I’ll probably reserve for my ashier areas so I can protect and moisturize all in one.Smell is fine, pretty mild but it’s there. Scent sort of like if they made a cookie that was “candy urinal cake” scented? Like I don’t hate it weirdly enough, it’s definitely mild anyway so it’s not really an issue either way 😂Bottle is cute, it’s a real wood cap which I didn’t expect. Can’t find a clear expiration date but I do see a lot code.Excited to test more come summer!I am unfamiliar with the market for this particular item and thus cannot assess “value for product” sufficiently. First impressions, will update if I find further benefits or issues w/ more use in the future.

I’m a fan of spray sunblock for my little one but like to use actual “lotion” sunblock for face/ears etc so I can make sure I’m getting every spot and have more control with it. I did not love this brand. It made my little one look super oily, unlike others like this, and left a little bit of a white cast. And for the price (19 at time of review), there are definitely better options out there!
