This Boss cologne has a pleasant scent, that seems best described as “fresh and clean.” The patchouli tone seems to melt away quickly leaving a citrus tone with light herbal notes. Nice scent for spring and summer.The bottle and box are both attractive, making it a good gift. Note that the spray nozzle is the same color as the pump head, so it’s almost invisible except under bright light: it’s very easy to misdirect the spray.

I tested this scent at home, and interestingly, all the guys liked it while all the women didn’t. I didn’t love it, but it is a nice scent overall. I just wish it had a little less of that “musk” note—if that’s the right word. The citrus is really pleasant, but they tried to blend in a “manly (musk)” scent with it, and I feel like they missed the mark. Cloves would’ve been a better choice. The musk definitely lasts longer than the citrus. I’ll still wear it because I like the scent, but I do wish my wife liked it too. The packaging was nice, so it would make a good present.

The bottle is well made and doesn’t leak. I really just don’t like this scent, it barely has citrus, mainly just a scent I don’t like. There are hints of citrus, but def want more. It does last a good 8 hours, but transforms during the smell. The longer you wear it the better it smells.

It’s a very masculine scent, but think crisp and clean—not brooding in a whiskey parlor.The scent straight out of the bottle is intense, almost overwhelming. But once it settles, the layers begin to balance out: that fresh, bright citrus on top, a hint of spicy heart, and woody patchouli at the base. The patchouli undertone lingers a lot longer than the citrus, but it still smells clean.It lasted a good 6-8 hours (to the end of the work day). By hour 5, it was more patchouli.Overall: That citrus scent is 100% summertime, but if you don’t (also) like patchouli, this might not be a good match.
