Great Gellac
The gellac works as described: you can create a cat eye effect with it (magnet NOT included). The colour (M19) is more bronze / orange rather than red. However the more you use the magnet, the more red it becomes, but it’s still more of a autumn colour. Other than that it’s a great gellac that only needs one coat, and that is set with a UV light (I did 2x 60 sec to be sure).

Se trata de un esmalte UV de la marca Burano, presentado en un bote de 7.3ml y en mi caso en el color MY33. Es un tono marrón, que sinceramente yo no habría elegido entre la paleta de colores disponibles, pero que es más bonito puesto de lo que pensaba.La principal característica de este esmalte es el efecto ojo de gato, que se consigue acercando un imán a la uña recién pintada (y antes de curar el esmalte con la luz UV). La consistencia es tal vez algo más espesa que un esmalte normal, para que sea suficiente incluso con una sola capa. Eso sí, el imán no viene incorporado. Para mí no ha supuesto ningún problema, ya que tengo 3 o 4 de otros esmaltes ojo de gato. Pero para quien no lo tenga, no habría estado mal la opción de comprarlo aparte. O usa uno de la nevera.Lo que me resulta un poco incómodo es que, como el esmalte se seca rápido, no puedes pintarte una mano entera, poner el imán y curar las 5 uñas a la vez. En las instrucciones recomiendan que las pintes una a una, pero yo las hago de dos en dos (a veces 3 si voy muy rápido) para acabar antes.

I had a lot of fun playing with this cat eye nail polish. I watched a few tutorials on Youtube on how to do the cat eye designs, and this worked perfectly. I used a magnet wand I already had from another cat eye polish, and while some people might be annoyed this didn’t come with one, I would feel that it’s a waste if every cat eye polish came with a magnetic wand. I wouldn’t want 5 million wands. It worked well with different brand base and top coat, and it cured perfectly. I want to get more colors!

Questo smalto crea sull’unghia un effetto molto particolare che mi è piaciuto molto.La confezione contiene un foglietto con le istruzioni per una corretta applicazione ma non è prevista la lingua italiana, se non si conosce l’inglese o una delle altre lingue proposte bisogna farsi aiutare da un traduttore.Si tratta di uno smalto semipermanente, per poterlo utilizzare è necessario avere già a disposizione una base coat, un top coat, la lampada UV LED ed un accessorio magnetico specifico per questo tipo di smalto.Il ho testato il colore nero con l’effetto dorato, il risultato finale è molto gradevole.Il prodotto si tende molto bene, è fluido e non si formano grumi, appena steso è completamente dorato, poi con il magnete si crea l’effetto sfumato e striato.Ci vuole un pò di manualità per ottenere un buon risultato, ma la cosa positiva è che se qualcosa va storto durante l’utilizzo del magnete e non si è soddisfatti dell’effetto ottenuto basta riapplicare un leggero strato sul precedente e avvicinare di nuovo il magnete.E’ una bella idea, è un prodotto valido e ne consiglio l’acquisto.

This replaced a similar colour that I had bought as part of a set. The quality is excellent and it is easily and smoothly applied on a gel base coat. The cat eye effect really is very cool and you can play around with the style that you’re after. I would recommend watching some YouTube videos to get you started. The nice thing is if you mess up you just have to brush a thin coat on again before you’ve cured it and it redistributes the cat eye for you to start again.
