I picked Clairol nice and easy Medium Auburn as my previous colour (light Reddish brown) is almost impossible to get hold of now.I wanted a colour that was as close to this. I am pleased with the results and will be ordering again.

Considering my hair was light blonde/strawberry blonde before, I’m quite disappointed in how dark this turned out. My hair is now darker than the darkest shade shown on the colour guide, when I was expecting the lightest (if not lighter, seeing as my hair was 2-3 shades lighter than those shown on the colour guide). Never had an issue with colour being so way off before.Only given two stars for the fact it is easy to use and has good coverage. But I’d recommend going for a lighter colour than what you want as the colours seem to process very dark.

So many of these reviews claim the dye is expired. The date on the box is the PRODuction date i.e. the date it was made/manufactured. It is an excellent hair dye and I highly recommend it.

Hi, for all my fellow natural redheads who are having grey (white really) hair pop through … this review is for you! As we know,most hair dyes steer clear of us natural redheads so buying dye is a guessing game. Well I took the plunge with this auburn 5R and am delighted. Easy and quick to use, hid my white hairs and enhanced my Auburn but naturally so. It just looks and feels healthier. So pleased, I now have this on bi monthly re ordering, just in case I forget. Not seen how long it lasts yet but no nasty smell and no adverse reaction, definitely will use again!
