If you like that sea salty mineral amber quality that’s popular in a lot of fragrances at the moment but don’t like the cloying candy sweetness of others, then you might like this.It offers the same experience but drier, and with a pleasant and more ‘grown-up’ vanilla tonka bean drydown.Performance-wise you get about 6 hours however I do find I could do with a top-up later in the day. This is why I’m giving it 4 stars.I wear it to the office where my fragrance is noticeable but not too overwhelming. It would also be suitable for a night out.

The bottle is chic and the magnetic cap is very cool. An androgynous fragrance it starts out crisp but gradually fades into something softer and sweeter. I prefer most men’s colognes to women’s. I liked the opening notes but was less enthused with the way it leveled out. Packaging is chic and sophisticated. 3.5 stars
