I think a good moisturiser can really change the appearance of your skin. Leaving it hydrated and nourished, giving a perfect base for your make up.I have been using this one for two weeks now and have to say I love it. The cream is vegan friendly, doesn’t test on animals and 100% natural. Brilliant business ethics and is priced at £16.95.The ingredients work together to help boost collagen production, repairs and protects the skin and is suppose to brighten skin.The cream has hyaluronic acid in it, which I think really boosts hydration (especially when used with my usual hyaluronic serum), my skin has had a more dewy glow, compared to dry and dull.It also has a strong smell of grapefruits which reminds me of more expensive brands who like to use citrus scents to their products. 4*

Although this moisturiser does what you would expect a moisturiser to do, i.e. hydrate your skin, it also features all kinds of extras labelled as ‘anti-aging’ to protect and repair your skin as well make it look younger.The moisturiser arrives in a tube that stands upright and you press the lid to pump out the moisturiser. The moisturiser itself is very light and cool against your skin. It spreads easily across your face and leaves your skin looking hydrated with no white or shiny patches, which is excellent. It lasted well throughout the day and didn’t cause any kind of irritation.I wasn’t too keen on the smell. It is described as coconut oil and apricot, but I found that it smelt just a little fruity, but quite synthetic. That said, within a few seconds it has been rubbed into the skin and the smell is gone, so it’s not really a big issue.Personally, I just found this moisturiser ‘fine’, but nothing too special compared to other brands I’ve tried. Even with all the extra ingredients, I’m not sure the quality of the bottle or product within quite justifies the high price unless you look through the ingredients and it matches exactly what you are looking for.

This white creamy anti-aging moisturiser from Dermaworks comes in a round 50ml pump dispenser. This mild citrusy-scented cream has quite a thick consistency, it’s non-greasy and absorbs quickly into my combination skin leaving it soft and supple. It’s available on Amazon for 16.95 (at the time of writing this review).It’s good to know that this made in the UK cream is made with 100% natural ingredients including hyaluronic acid and botanical oil for the hydration, AHAsthat helps exfoliate the skin, Vitamin C, E and A to help with blemishes and pigmentation. It’s not tested on animals, and suitable for vegans.I have been using this cream at night for the past three weeks, I have not experienced any irritations, and I’m loving the results so far. That said, it’s always wise to do a patch test first to see if there are any adverse reactions especially if you have sensitive skin.Since the cream is quite rich, it might be most suitable for dry and hydrated skin, and best to use at night.Overall, a reasonably priced good natural formulation moisturiser that’s packed with antioxidants and other goodness that’s great for adding back hydration and help brighten up the skin with consistent and continuous use.
