For some unknown reason, I have virtually no eyebrows left at age 70. It’s not a good look, especially in these days of bold, lustrous brows. After many years, I finally scrapped the old pencils … hard, dry products that pull your skin and break when you sharpen them. I did eventually find a product here on Amazon recommended by a friend that is more of a crayon than a pencil… very fine, good for making your brow look a little more natural… but it wiped off easily. And then I found this “e.l.f. Instant Lift Waterproof Brow Pencil” here on Amazon and seeing that it was a better price than the previous product, I thought I’d give it a try. It’s a great product for a reasonable price. It’s a bit thicker than the previous pencil, but that’s turned out to be a good thing. If it goes on a bit too thick, the brush is very helpful in spreading it for a more natural look. And it stays put! (I no longer leave the house with two eyebrows and come home to find that at some point during the day one got rubbed off… ) This product is not a perfect replacement for actual eyebrows, but it’s the best thing I’ve used to date. My only “complaint” is the colour. I use the blonde pencil, but I find it to be too dark.

This works great, I can make my brows look natural, rather than the big brow ugly look that is so unnatural to me. I have very sparse brows and it works well. Elf cosmetics are nicely priced. They are not a bank breaker, for the money they are well worth it.
