As any curly haired person, I’ve tried countless gels, creams, musses, and different application methods, and even though they all give different results, their effect last more or less than others. IN MY CASE… longlasting effects were important as I don’t have time to redo my hair in the middle of the week. So, after may trials and routine changes I ended up with pre-poo before washing, wash, detangle, mask, rinse off, leave in, light curl cream, Eco Style Gel, Argan Oil, dry with difusor, few drops of finishing argan oil – IT WORKS EVERY TIME!NOTES: I dry 90% to 100% depending onthe season and time in my hands. I don’t use a silk bonnet, just a couple of clips to keep the curls in place and a silk pillow cover. Here’s how the curls hold up in the Wintertime + gym 2 to 3 times/week:Day one – hair 100% defined and you get abit of a crunch that can easily be solved with come finishing oil – no frizzDay 2 to 3 – hair 100% defined with no crunch and lower volume – no frizzDay 3 to 4 – hair 90% to 80% defined with more volume – little frizzDay 4 to 5 – hair 70% defined with mid-high volume – visible frizzDay 5 to 7 – hair 60% defined with high volune – visible frizzDay 7 to 10 – hair 50% defined with afro volume – noticeable frizzThese percentages change in the summertime where curls only hold up to 5 days with gym 2 to 3 times/week, and/or tennis practice 2 times/week. In this secenario, I refresh my curls on day 4 with water dispenser and Eco Style Gel, Argan Oil + dry with difusor, NO FINISHING OIL.I hope this helps!
