When this product arrived, the packaging was a wreck. Looked like it’d been stored improperly for a long time. Even the dropper was discoloured like it had been left in UV or something. The condition it arrived in was not promising, and actually quite shocking considering the price.I also wasn’t expecting much from this because the packaging/marketing does not reflect the price at all. It looks very cheap and tacky.The product itself is in a good quality glass bottle with a glass dropper. The serum is a translucent white colour and quite viscous. It looks almost vulgar. It has a very faint scent which isn’t good but also not unpleasant.Regardless of appearances, the product actually seems great – and despite how it may or may not have been stored, this doesn’t seem to have affected the quality. It feels a bit slimy and tacky when applying, but it soaks into your skin so well and leaves it feeling refreshed and hydrated, with no residue left at all. Fine lines almost vanish and my skin looks better than ever.Be aware that this also contains 20% vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid) which can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun, so be sure to use some kind of SPF protection if you’ll be going outside much.Other ingredients, besides 2.5% retinol, include hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), aloe, vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) and jojoba seed oil and water. Nothing else!Overall this is a great retinol and I’d highly recommend it BUT the seller really should get to the bottom of how this is being stored/distributed and possibly hire a graphic designer for some new packaging because they really aren’t doing the product justice!
