Nice conditioner, I found it a bit expensive for the quality

This conditioner is amazing. It is the only conditioner I have used where after just one minute I am able to easily comb through my natural curly hair. Even after rinsing, my hair is soft and manageable and not to mention left with a very nice scent.

For years, I’ve been looking for a brand that can tame this frizzy mess on my head. Pantene, Loreal, John Freida, Garnier, Suave, Ogx, Wen, Aussie, dove, I’ve burned through some of the biggest brands and delved into the little niche ones… Nada. Hot oil treatments, mayo and egg caps, no-poo, porosity tests. I’ve searched the darkest depths of the internet on blogs, forums, and reviews in a seemingly hopeless search to find the solution that brings out the full potential of my hair…. nothing. Then I came upon Hask and realized I’ve finally found the stuff of legends. But first, a little about my hair and hair practices. My hair is thick, dry, frizzy, around 2.5 ft long, but healthy I think. Its virtually free of tangles and split ends. I almost never style my hair unless it’s for the occasional wedding or baby shower (it becomes deceivingly silky soft when its styled) and even then I make sure to use a heat protectant so heat damage is pretty much out of the question. I take showers once every 2, mayyyybe 3 days sometimes. I found that going no-poo did helped keep the dryness and frizz in control and it made my hair almost completely free of tangles. I never towel-dry. And I almost never take a brush to my hair (not out of neglect, I just try my best to keep external stresses to an absolute minimum. Hair is almost never untangled but if it ever is, running my fingers through my hair a few times suffices) Despite the thick frizz, I can always run my fingers from my scalp to the ends and encounter minimal tangles. So, my first experiences and impressions with Hask…Having tried all the overpriced niche “good stuff” with no results, I eventually settled into using whatever storebrand conditioners in the shower to wash my hair (garnier, l’oreal, pantene… you get the point). So being accustomed to the diluted stuff that comes out of storebrand conditioners, I was pleasantly surprised by the rich, thick texture of Hask. I also noticed that the scent was HEAVENLY (Orchid and White Truffle). Do note that I did have to put a little extra effort into completely rinsing it out… not a complaint by any means though. When my hair dried afterward, I instantly noticed that the unruly frizz was replaced by semi-frizzy, soft waves. My hair did feel dry either! It may not sound like much, but let me tell you there was definitely a difference. It was a step in the right direction. Since then, I’ve been exploring the other products Hask makes. One of my favorites are the little deep conditioning packets. I did try the oils but didn’t see much of a difference…These are just my thoughts and experiences on how this conditioner worked for me. It may work differently for you. This particular scent doesn’t appeal to me as much as their other conditioners, but it does the job just as well.. hair is soft and tangle free!
