I hope to make a full review after testing this hat thoroughly, but I can say right away that the picture with size measurements is misleading: I have a size 58 cm head and bought this product thinking it would fit me loosely without the velcro-strap. Instead, it’s so tight even without the strap that it only fits me with some mild discomfort. This product would probably only fit comfortably for people with head sizes 53-57 cm diameter. It might fit for slightly smaller head sizes as well (1-2 cm less), but there isn’t enough velcro in the back for that, so you would have to modify that by yourself.When it comes to the function of the hat, it seems to be working fine with the supplied regular power adapter – all the lights go on and I can feel it heating up my head quite nicely. However, when using it with the USB-adapter, the controller starts making a quite audible and sharp electric hum on all watt-levels except when it’s on full effect (L4) or off. I’m not sure whether this has to do with the supplied USB-adapter or my power sources (a GP PowerBank and an old computer with a then very premium power supply), but my guess is that the USB-adapter is the faulty one, so I don’t think I can recommend this to anyone who plans to use this with the USB on their computer or while on the move, at least not until the manufacturer fixes this or I can find a working replacement adapter.
