I have been curing my nails for years. I use a Mylee lamp that I’ve had for about 8/9 years – it still works perfectly so didn’t really need another lamp but I wanted something easier to pop in my bag if I wanted to touch up chips etc whilst travelling.I am really impressed with this! Absolutely tiny but it does a brilliant job, making it perfect for travel as well as at home. It does take a bit longer to do a set of nails as I cure the top coat for 2 mins. The setting on the lamp is 1 min only, you can’t change the timer. I normally only cure for 30secs between coats and 1 min for top coat with my Mylee lamp so it does add a good 10 minutes on to my usual time. You also have to do your thumbs separately as it is too small to get all of your nails under it. This doesn’t bother me at all because it’s so compact and much easier than getting my Mylee lamp out every few weeks!Would definitely purchase again if and when this one gives up the ghost!

This is a useful little oven as I have no room for a large table. It fits on a small side table when I’m doing my nails. I’m not sure if its hot/bright enough, either, as it doesn’t always set the gel polish even after 90 seconds, and it sometimes stops with no warning in the middle of a process, which is annoying.

This is a handy little tool for newbies to nails like myself. I wanted to do my own polygel nails (save a few pennies) so I bought this as I didnt want to spend a lot to start with in case I couldn’t get the hang of it. It does the job, its very small and low down so you can’t get your full hand under it, however, it does cure the nails and sets them fine. My biggest niggle is the USB charger that comes with it is tiny so unless you have a long lead that fits this (as its not compatible with the new chargers or my Samsung S9 phone charger – yes I know I need to upgrade!) So you’re restricted on where you can use this as it has to be plugged in to use. After getting fed up of this and finding out I wasn’t bad at doing my own nails, I invested in a large salon type one. HOWEVER if like me you are just looking for a starter kit, you can’t go wrong with this for the price
