This is very finely powdered tea, so it quickly delivers flavour to the hot water and produces a powerful drink. No need for ritual; I used little more than a quarter of a teaspoon to 80ml of hot water, and whisked briefly. If you like the flavour of green tea, this will deliver.

J’ai déjà goûté un muffins au matcha mais je n’ai jamais bu ni fait moi même un thé matcha.Sachant que ce thé japonais a beaucoup de vertus pour la santé, j’ai voulu essayer et je l’ai testé avec du lait pour le 1er essaie.Le goût me fait penser à des épinards mais beaucoup plus doux. Très bon.2ème essaie avec de l’eau chaude sans sucre. la couleur du vert est beaucoup plus foncé. Le goût épinards/ thé vert est plus fort, plus amer. Mais agréable.Ceremonial grade donne comme conseil d’utilisation: 1gr de poudre pour 80ml d’eau chaude (80 degré).J’ai malgré tout fait quelques recherches sur le net:- Pour faire un thé “usucha” prenez 1/2 cuillère rase à café pour 75ml d’eau chaude (70 degré idéal). Cela vous donnera un thé leger et plus amer. Fouetter énergiquement pour donner une légère mousse au dessus.- pour faire un thé “koicha” prenez 1 cuillère bombée à café pour 40ml d’eau chaude (toujours à 70 degré dans l’idéal).Cela vous donnera une mixture plus épaisse. Fouettez doucement. Pas de mousse.L’idéal est d’avoir un fouet à matcha en bambou, mais comme je n’en ai pas, je les ai fouetté avec un petit fouet en inox.Une belle découverte pour moi, ce thé est vraiment pas mal, maintenant je pense qu’il y en a des meilleurs mais à des prix beaucoup plus élevés.Environ 19euros lors de mon commentaire, pour 50gr de matcha, soit 50 thé.Je dirais que c’est un bon rapport qualité prix.En espérant que mon commentaire vous sera utile

J’ai commencé à inclure le thé matcha dans mes gâteaux et au-delà de la couleur verte que ça leur confère, j’adore ce petit parfum discret mais très différent de ce que l’on a l’habitude de savourer. Mes convives sont ravis de cette découverte.Pour en profiter pleinement, je vous conseille de ne pas mettre plus de 20 gr dans vos préparations de type cake sucré car après, le goût devient trop prononcé je trouve.Enfin je ne jugerai pas ce thé comme boisson car je ne suis pas très fan de ce type de thé donc je m’abstiendrai et laisserai les connaisseurs vous dire ce qu’il en est vraiment.

That’s slightly less than £20 for 50gr ,quite expensive but apparently very appreciated in Japan and all around the world.Good to know and you appreciate even more when you drink it, it work as a booster of energy, as an antioxidant and far burner. These are all reasons I am drinking it every day.The taste is very good, it reminds me a green tea a friend of mine brought me from Japan few years ago. I must say it is much less bitter than other teas I have drunk up until now.I was a bit upset when I saw it didn’t come in a tin but in a bag.It is a shame, also, on the bag there’s no instructions how to make it. I had to look, then on the description on Amazon, on Google and ask my friend about it. He also suggested me to put in the freezer after opening to keep it fresh for longer. To prepare it you would need a special bamboo whisk but I have tried with the metal whisk first but I had some clumps left in the mug and then I tried with the milk frother and I had a pretty good result.I have ordered premium and cerimonial which is more expensive but to be sincere, unfortunately, I cannot taste any difference.
