This non-absorbent palette paper pad works very well for mixing paints prior to applying to your canvas or model.I use mostly acrylic model paints and this pad saves me having to clean plastic palettes all the time. Once done, just rip off the sheet and dispose of it in the trash.For my needs the size of the sheet is plenty big enough for a whole painting session, so this pad would last 50 sessions. A simple item that works and saves plenty of cleanup time. Mixing paints on it is pretty simple. Not quite as good as a wet palette for paint longevity but good for anything else.

When we felt how thin this was, we were skeptical but this product is a hidden gem!Both sides are coated, meaning there is no ‘wrong side’ to use. The paper experienced no warping or pilling at all after having paint applied, as well as water and flow agent. Paint can be pulled and mixed easily upon it, and it stays usable for a decent amount of timeThe best part in my opinion is when your done with your current painting session, you can either wait for it to completely dry and just use the back as your next pallet, or fold it in half.Very happy to keep using!

Palette paper is a great addition to an artist studio. Cleanup is always in the forefront of my mind. I have not tried Meeden’s palette paper before so I was interested to see how it performs. The palette paper comes in a pad format and the idea is to leave on the pad when using. Then tear off and dispose of. The palette paper in this particular pad feel similar to marker paper. It has an almost matte finish that is nice to mix on. It does not bleed through and because it is non absorbent it does keep the paint fresh for a bit longer (I work with acrylics) . The pad is good quality and the only con would be the colour. It is bright white and I prefer to use palette paper in a neutral grey.

This palette paper is thinner than some of the other brands I’ve tried but it’s bleedproof and makes cleanup super easy. I use it with traditional gouache, acrylic gouache, and standard acrylic paints. It performs well with all of them. As an added bonus, the used sheets make great collage paper for mixed media artwork so it’s really dual purpose. When looked at that way, the price is even more reasonable than expected. I’ll definitely buy more when I run out.

Great for saving cleanup time. Works fine for paint mixing. It is a decent size. I would use this for small touch-ups or smaller projects where I don’t need to save the paint I’ve mixed for future sessions.
