Gets the job done, doesn’t cover tattoos but just make sure you wear a good base underneath and prep your face and body or it will stain!! You can see where my watch was after scrubbing multiple times.

I am so pleased with the Mehron body paint. It was SO easy to use and quick to apply. One coat offered excellent coverage, but I needed 2 coats to achieve what I wanted. It held up all day without wearing off (aside from my fingertips [I have a computer job] even the palms of my held the paint REALLY well). When it came time to wash off (over 12 hours after application), there was no staining of skin. Also, a little goes a LONG way. Would totally recommend this.

Got the 4 oz bottle of red, obviously. We had freshly washed and dried skin with just a very basic moisturizer under it and gave that like 30 minutes to dry fully while we got into our costumes and worked on hair stuff. I used a dollar store foundation brush and a small bowl, shook it for a good 30 seconds, and applied it in strokes. It went on very smoothly with very few stroke marks if any on the first coat. I allowed it to dry and then touched up any spots I needed to (I have tattoos that still showed through but I was not attempting to cover them). My boyfriend opted to keep his facial hair intact and unfortunately I don’t have a photo of under his mask but the facial hair was easily covered and looked great. We walked in a parade and went to a show afterwards, no cracking or fading for 5+ hours. I was a light pink shade for a few days after, so it did stain a little. I’m going to try the green out next year! I’d say it was well worth the money.
