Decided to try this off of a recommendation after I noticed I was feeling low on bad weather days. I have no experience with this type of product but what I’ve noticed is that the light seems to help with my productivity at the computer and I definitely seemed to be in a better mood. I do find the light can be a bit intrusive but the various level of adjustment for brightness and colour temperature is nice. The unit looks nice and seems to be built well. All of the buttons are firm and feel like they are quality. What I don’t like is that the buttons are all along the bottom so when trying to press them, it’s hard to do this with one hand. If they were at the top, one could at least hold the back of the light panel at the same time. Minor detail but still worth mentioning.

My old sad lamp died in a feline related accident so this was a must grab. It functions much the same as any other with light ranging from uncomfortable to blinding, just set it somewhere not directly in your eyes and you’re set. If I’m stuck inside all day I turn it on and it really helps with the drained feeling you can get. Honestly I’d recommend one to anyone who’s stuck indoors a lot or just over the winter.
