Let me just say I’d buy this for the smell alone. Didn’t know what to expect, with the jelly-like consistency,but I was pleasantly surprised. Pretty good slip, moderately moisturized, smelled HEAVENLY to me. Only drawback is the price. Quite a big one for such a small jar – take it from someone with big wavy/curly long hair. Would have liked more product for the price. Overall, not bad at all.
Fit for a Pharaoh –
I did the Big Chop during COVID, after 20 years of SisterLocs, and my 4Chair didn’t have a regular routine. I’ve tried several lines, but they all eventually leave a residue. Mielle is the only product that consistently performs without leaving a residue. I sometimes sleep with the sleeping mask on overnight, then rinse it out in the morning and proceed with the styling products. I get great could from this product.

I tried all of them together and when using all three together, mask, gel and leave in conditiner. It left my hair soft. If I used one by itself my hair felt dry. So finally I used all three but it started making me lose a lot of hair. I don’t know why. I like that it has no Parabens and no silicones, but my hair had some kind of reaction so unfortunately I had to throw all three away. I was so bummed. I like the texture of all tgeee. The gel, mask and the leave in are all creamy and nice and don’t smell strong.
