This hand held UV light is great for focusing on individual nails. It’s light and easily portable to take on the go. I personally take it with me as I just got into attempting my own nails and learned that instead of nail glue I can use gel base & UV light to attach press -on’s. This is seriously better then any sticky tabs or nail glue. It keeps the nail on without coming loose & has a cleaner removal then the glue does (also I find it less messy). The stand also really helps to hold it if you need your other hand to hold press-on/extensions in place under the light. I do have a full hand UV as well & for me, sometimes my thumb just can’t reach the same height as the others and misses out. Now I can stick my hand in and just use this for my thumb.The stand can be a little stiff in unfolding but that’s actually good because you don’t have to worry about the foldable pieces failing/falling down when in use or accidently opening & risk it snaping/breaking off if you keep it in your bag on the go.It’s rechargeable so don’t need batteries & cordless which is great too. This way you can use it practically anywhere and if you’re creating 3D designs with multi layers/addons, this is so much easier to use per individual nail then a whole hand system.

Bestellt, um kleinere Gießlinge und Gußformverschalungen aus UV-Harz auszuhärten.Dafür taugen die üblichen Nagel-Lampen (unter die man seine Hände legt) natürlich nicht, UV-Taschenlampen muss man mühevoll selbst halten und leistungsstärkere Standgeräte sind für den Zweck schlicht zu überdimensioniert und zu teuer.Über dieses Produkt gestolpert zu sein war dann fast schon so etwas wie Schicksal, denn es verbindet die Flexibilität, die ich brauche, mit einer Standfunktion, wenn ich sie nicht brauche.Zugegeben: Beim ersten Unboxing war ich erst einmal überrascht davon, wie kompakt Lampe und Standfuß sind (Größe und Design der Lampe erinnern an eine schlanke Powerbank – was sie rein technisch betrachtet ja im Grunde auch ist) … und da hatte ich erstmal so meine Zweifel, ob das für meine Zwecke reicht. Zumal auch nirgendwo eine Leistungsangabe steht.Das gut versteckte Produktblatt im Produktkarton verrät dann: Es handelt sich um ein 3-Watt-LED-Leuchtmittel. Das ist zwar deutlich unter dem, was mein Resin für eine schnelle Härtung voraussetzt (6 Watt für <4 Minuten) ... aber entweder stimmt die Wattangabe nicht oder mein Resin ist besser als es sich selbst macht, denn ich habe bisher selbst bei dickwandigeren Güssen bis zu 1cm noch keine 4 Minuten benötigt).Die Streuung des Leuchtkegels ist auch recht gut, was insofern sinnvoll ist, da bei punktueller "Bestrahlung" natürlich sehr viel Oberflächenhitze entsteht. Die ensteht im Leuchtkörper selber aber auch bei längerer Anwendung, sprich: das Vorderteil der Lampe wird nach einigen Zyklen am Stück schon recht warm.Die Angabe, bei voller Akkuleistung würde sie 80-100 Zyklen hergeben, stimmt (wie so oft bei chinesischen Produkten) natürlich nicht. Faktisch hält der Akku ca. 20 Minuten durch, was bei einem Zyklus von 20 Sekunden hochgerechnet auf 60 Zyklen kommt.Zum Standfuß: Der ist solide aus Hartplastik gefertigt und die beiden Kippgelenke sind gut verarbeitet und ausreichend schwerwängig, um die Position zu halten. Die Gelenkschrauben sind außerdem nicht im Guss mit verpresst, man kann sie also auch jederzeit nachziehen, falls nötig.Die Lampe war seit Kauf bisher fast täglich über mehrere Stunden (mit Pausen natürlich) im Einsatz und hat bisher noch keinerlei Mängel gezeigt, außer dass der längere Leuchtzyklus gefühlt manchmal 40 und manchmal 60 Sekunden läuft, gemessen habe ich es aber nicht (und dürfte auch keinen Unterschied machen).Einzig: Der entsprechende Netzstecker zum Aufladen/Netzbetrieb wird nicht mitgeliefert. Aber ein Handyladegerät hat ja eigentlich jeder zuhause.Fazit: Nix zu meckern. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen und sogar empfehlen.

Works perfectly for curing gel-x tips and holds a charge for quite a long time. It does cause some burning when it’s freshly charged but I just blow on my nail while the light is on and it works 🤷🏼♀️
