This is a great travel tin (or just small palette). The overall quality is good: the enamel finish, the metal quality, the rolled edges. I did have to slightly pinch the end of the lid hinge so that the pin would quit trying to work it’s way out. If you like the overall design, there’s not much more to say.

I love the smaller size of this . I was able to fill it with my favorite paint in the colors of my choice. I like the way the pallet and lid fold over and snap shut.

I got the long thin palette with the 12 (empty) full pans. I’ll be using it mostly with half pans.The case itself has a sturdy build and feels good to use. As expected for this kind of metal pallet.We lost a star on the tray.The tray that sits inside the pan is at least an eighth of an inch smaller than the case so it rattles a lot.The rails (shiny silver thing the pans sit in) pop out really easily – even the push of the brush can take the whole thing out of the tray. It snaps back in, but I have to take the pans out to do it, then put them back with a 50% chance of it popping out again.But now that I use it some more, I might just take the rails off altogether as they are too close together. Normally in this kind of tin, I can fit a third row of half pans on their side in between the rails. But there’s not enough room here.Since I tend to put magnets on my half pans anyway (I hate a rattling art kit), I’ll probably remove the rails and just sit the pans on the tray. That way I can get a lot more paint in the tin and the magnets will keep it in place. And the tray can lift out if I want to change the paints around.But even with these issues, it’s still good value for the price. It does what I need and is adaptable to my style – which is important to me.

Lo uso para técnica goauche y me es muy cómodo. Creo que para otras técnicas como acuarela y acrílico también debe funcionar. Es algo de bolsillo o de viaje, ya que es compacto!!
