It’s good but I doubt it’s unrefined
Well the product is good, it has the characteristic shea smell which you may or may not like but it’s not a bad or rancid smell. It’s soft you can take it directly from the bottle with your finger and it melts easily. I question it’s really unrefined because I think real unrefined should be yellow-orange-ish color and this one is white. It really softens your skin in a few days off constant use.

The butter is really fresh and moistures a lot. I use on my body and face and is great for me that have dry skin. The product have a strong “Smokey” odor that I think some people don’t like. The Smokey odor is because it’s fresh so for me it was a good sign. After I put it on my body and face I use a perfume so I don’t even smell the Smokey odor at all 🙂

Burro di karitè grezzo bio. Senza profumo e con un odore particolare. A me non fa impazzire ma lo uso per le sue enormi qualità. In inverno resta più compatto ed è necessario scaldarlo molto tra le mani per renderlo spalmabile mentre in estate è più semplice. Per superare l’odore basta usare qualche goccia di olio essenziale quando è stato scaldato tra le mani. Non si assorbe facilmente, infatti lo adoro in estate perchè lascia la pelle molto lucida e sulle gambe l’effetto è wow. Un po’ più complicato se ti devi sedere su un divano o su superfici lucide.. Comunque per come lascia la pelle sono piccoli difetti che si possono tralasciare. Un barattolo dura tantissimo.

Shea butter is the richest emollient you will ever find that isn’t greasy. I massage it onto my legs and arms after a shower or bath and on my hands every night. Bearing in mind that as a busy mum, the wrong side of 40, who also works as a decorator, you may imagine my hands to be wrinkled and dry. Well they were! I couldn’t use most hand creams as the fragrance stayed on long after the effects wore off and that’s not ideal for anyone who prepares food. Also, I only use natural products that won’t contribute to the modern day toxic chemical overload with all the chronic health problems that go with it, so the products available to me were slightly limited. Being so inexpensive, I figured it was worth trying the raw, organic butter which forms the base of many quality skin creams. I use a little ice cream spoon (the sort that comes in the lid of a mini tub at the theatre) to shave a curl off the block to apply thinly. If you take a chunk out you will find it difficult to spread, even between warm hands. Less is definitely more and you can always add extra, but if you slather on a big blob you’ll find yourself reaching for the kitchen roll to wipe it back off… thinly spread, the butter will absorb right down into the layers of your skin making it softer and more supple, and with little more than a mild, unobtrusive earthy/woody scent.

Cumple su función, lo estoy usando en el cabello dejándolo hidratando, suave y sin frizz. INCONVENIENTE el olor…. Si te pasas de cantidad aunque te lo enjuagas notas el olor ( que desaparece en 24h o asi) pero reconozco que el olor es muyyyy intenso, es mi primera vez usando karite y no puedo compararlo con otras marcas pero lo seguiré usando ya que los resultados me compensan
