I’d wanted to try a different pre that didn’t contain the more artificial sweeteners like sucralose, acesulfame or aspartame. Grapefruit was the only flavour in stock so no choice but to go for it. To be clear I really really wanted to like this as it uses steviol glycosides and it’s not a cheap pre-workout either. But drinking this down is just an exercise in trying not to be sick. Easily one of the worst tasting pre-workouts I’ve ever tried and that doesn’t even nearly justify how bad it is. Having said that, I will give the fruit punch a go but if that tastes anywhere near as bad as this then I’m done.

I love this stuff. Best on an empty stomach. Definitely knocks others into the water. I can do my 4 sets on my chest and feel like I’ve done a good job. There isn’t any nootropics in it but they didn’t help me anyway, apart from a bit of focus. The taste of the grapefruit is horrific but it’s a small price to pay for the power you get out of it. It does get fizzy once you’ve added the powder to the water which was a bit of a surprise to me.

People complain about the taste of the grapefruit flavor but I was pleasantly surprised, nicer than the fruit punch in my opinion. Bitter, but easily downed and gives good results in the gym or when you need a boost to get through a shift at work.
