I bought these because I was recommended to increase my potassium intake following a serious illness involving hospitalisation.
After several months of eating bananas every day (I don't like bananas — they're OK with Cornflakes but I rarely eat Cornflakes) I decided to get a direct source of this radioactive elemental mineral.
These pills taste horrible, combined with the fact that they dissolve quickly on a wet tongue. I would have a hard time trying to convince a cat to eat one.
I assume they're good for me, mainly because I haven't read anything that says they're not.
The "radioactive" comment isn't a joke. Bananas are known to be radioactive because of their high potassium content. I own a Geiger counter and have confirmed this for myself. It's not a bad thing, just a fact. No worries.
I think of the Borat song about potassium mining in his homeland whenever I take one.

The tablets are fine. They seem to work, only time will tell.

Unfortunately well over half in this pack are broken. They should have a smooth, convex surface on both sides but most have a flat, rough side where they have sheared in two.

So they say people need 1400mg a day so every little helps, do I feel any better no but can’t hurt taking a few extra grams of potassium which helps lower blood pressure

I’ve been taking these for a long time and I’m happy with the results I get from them.
