I am giving this product three stars because the needles are not sharp enough to properly penetrate the skin – even with a lot of force. I tried this yesterday and was dissapointed with how difficult it was to get the needles into my skin – if they were sharper it would be less painful and more effective because the needles need to penetrate the skin and draw blood to effectively stimulate collagen.I have had a professional course of dermastamp in the past 18 months, and so I am aware of how a well-designed dermastamp works. And the dermastamp they used worked better – it slid into the skin with less pressure and got deeper. There was quite a lot of blood after application, and it was very painful, but the course really reduced fine lines and ice pick scars on my face. I was totally happy with the results. I know this technique actually works – but it was very expensive to get it done proffessionally (£160 for three treatments), this is why I was looking into home use. I think I will try to find a better (and probably more expensive) derma stamp. I just wish there was more information out there about good dermastamps.

Man kommt sich doch sehr auf den Arm genommen vor: Die Produktbeschreibung suggeriert, als sei der Stift verstellbar und man könne alle Nadellängen einstellen (so etwas gibt es ja).Aber man bekommt nur einen mit einer einzigen Nadellänge zugesandt! Zufällig ausgewählt, als sei das etwas, was nicht relevant sei, so wie die Farbe oder so. Als seien die langen Längen nicht riskant für den Gebrauch zuhause. Ich erhielt einen mit der Länge von 0,25 mm.Daher nur der Tipp: Finger weg von diesem Händler! Der Stick selber ist okay und hygienisch verpackt. Aber bestellt dort, wo Ihr genau auswählen könnte, welche Länge Ihr bekommt…

Having only recently discovered the Derma Stamp and read many glowing reports about its effects on acne scarring I decided I had to give it a go. Whilst a little dubious about stabbing my face repeatedly causing it to bleed, I went ahead anyway as I am desperate for clear, scar free skin after 12 months of Roaccutane. I tried the 1.5 mm stamp 4 nights ago making sure to numb my face beforehand and apply Skinapeel serum afterwards. I can genuinely say that I see a small improvement in my deepest ice pick scar. I have decided to work on each scar at different times to avoid breaking out my whole face or causing all over flaking as I am in a customer facing job. I really can see an improvement in the one scar that was making me feel so self conscious so I am really excited to continue with derma stamp. I have read that progress is slow but if you are committed then you will achieve genuinely great results. I can’t wait to use this again but I’m waiting for about two weeks before my second round. Finally it looks like there is a glimmer of hope for acne scar sufferers!!!!

Really excellent product for targeting localised scars. Initially I used the derma stamp on a burn mark on my arm which was badly pigmented and quite noticeable. After about 4 treatments it had almost entirely disappeared. After that success, I decided to try using on localised acne scarring on my cheeks. I had previously tried a derma roller but found it too aggressive for the rest of my face – the dryness was also hard to cover up- so this is perfect for targeting smaller areas. I have used it about three times and am starting to see a real improvement; the scars aren’t as deep and my pores look smaller. I have also been using vitamin C serum, which I think has helped. Because it’s a small stamp it doesn’t cause much trauma, and the slight redness can easily be covered with a bit of makeup. Would highly highly recommend this to anyone with scars!
