Reetha (Aritha) have good cleansing properties. Contains a high content of saponins – a natural foaming agent. Naturally cleanses the skin and hair, helps fight dandruff and nourishes the hair.
Reetha powder comes from the fruit of the soap tree native to India, is widely used in Ayurvedic treatments and is a popular ingredient in Ayurvedic shampoos and hygiene products.
Naturally contains saponins that, when added to water, react like soap, produce bubbles and foam (not as much as surfactants).

It is great. One sof the best. I bought more expensive ones as well, but always irritates my skin.I mix it with the rose water to clean my face every evening. The results are great.I tried it also in my hair and is great.

Je m’en suis servi pour faire ( avec d’autres ingrédients type aloé vera, glycérine végétale, hydrolat, huile de coco) un shampoing pour un de mes chevaux ayant un problème de peau ( cheval très âgée en état de fatigue en sortie d’hiver, mue difficile, poux et peau fragilisée après le traitement chimique hélas indispensable…). Bon résultat, démangeaisons apaisées, moins de “pellicule”, peau assainie et poil brillant! Parfait! Exit les shampoing du commerce, celui ci à base de reetha convient parfaitement. Peut évidemment servir pour humain 😉

Polvere ottima io la uso sui capelli come shampoo. fà il suo dovere pulisce la cute e non la irrita . vi consiglio di farla sciogliere prima in un catino d’acqua cosi che non vi rimanga nei capelli . state attenti agli occhi perché irrita, io infatti lavo sempre i capelli a testa in giù per evitare il contatto con il viso. la uso anche per pulire pavimenti e devo dire che è ottima. l’unica pecca è l’odore , cioè non è il classico shampoo alla camomilla o miele. io la aggiungo all’amla con anche un po’ di miele per il nutrimento dei miei capelli afro. sui pavimenti invece la aggiungo al secchio con un po’ di alcool e ottengo dei pavimenti lucenti e con una pulizia ecologica.
