This lipstick is a really good matte lipstick. It has a really solid colour, and it completely dries down and seems pretty transfer proof. After letting it settle, if I kiss my hand to test the transfer it doesn’t get even a hint of colour transfer off onto my hand.I got the colour ‘that gal’ thinking itd be a slightly darker mauve but it ended up being a mlbb colour, matching my lip colour almost exactly. The lipstick inside the tube matches the cap exactly. I think I’ll also get a shade darker so I can have the slightly darker shade I wanted as well, but this colour is really nice too. Very natural on me which will be great for more bold eye looks.The one downside is that it is drying on the lips. This is very common for matte lipstick, and this being a very good matte lipstick in not surprised its quite drying. The first time I put it on it was quite uncomfortable. I took it off and prepped my lips with lipbalm, waited for that to settle for a couple minutes then redid it and it was so much better. Maybe an actual lip primer with this would be much better, but I don’t have one to test it out. I’ve had matte lipsticks that aren’t as drying but they had issues with transferring so it does seem to be a trade off we need to make.4 stars because of the drying lips, it can feel uncomfortable. Maybe in the summer it wouldn’t be as noticeable of an issue in the winter when lips are already dry its an issue. Otherwise amazing.
