It can be used without the need to put powder after it because it’s already matt . Skin absorbs it and yet it provides good coverage . It’s easy to distribute . My skin is light and I don’t like a foundation whose shade Is lighter than my skin color . So this shade works perfect for me and it gives natural color .

Let me start by saying I am a total beauty product junkie. When it comes to foundation I’ve tried A LOT of expensive brands… Dior, Lancome, Chanel, Givenchy etc. etc. Last year I decided to try a cheaper one for Glastonbury, in case it got lost in a field / down a long drop like so many of my possessions previously. After much deliberation I chose Rimmel’s Wake Me Up foundation, which I fell in love with and have been using until now. The only slight issue I’ve had is a shiny t zone later in the day, which led me to this, Rimmel’s Stay Matte foundation.Firstly, I like the fact it comes in a squeezy tube. Yes, of course it doesn’t look as nice as some of the fancy glass bottles, but it is so much easier to get the last out when there’s not much left. When it comes to the foundation itself, on first glance I wasn’t quite sure what to make of the consistency and appearance. As other reviewers have said, it’s like a paste, which doesn’t sound that appealing, but honestly it’s great!I use a foundation brush and it goes on like silk with a lovely velvety finish. It feels light on the skin, it’s easy to blend and it gives really REALLY good coverage without looking like you’re The Mask. It maintains a matte appearance throughout the day and I can’t emphasis enough what a smooth finish it gives, it glides over enlarged pores and covers any little imperfections.I liken it to wall filler, which smooths over cracks and wear and tear, but I’m not sure I’m doing myself or the foundation any favours with that analogy. Basically it’s a great product, superb value at around 6 quid and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Sobre esta base he de decir lo siguiente:Textura: es bastante densa por lo que aconsejo extenderla con una esponja si no quereis un acabado más cargado.Acabado: deja la piel mate como promete, sin brillos.Duración: en mi piel, dura bastante pero si que con las horas salen brillos, sobre todo en la zona T.Relación calidad precio: creo que es su punto más destacable dado que su precio es muy adsequible y los resultados que ofrece son bastante buenos.En resumen, si dispones de un presupuesto bajo, recomiendo esta base, sobre todo si eres de piel grasa y buscas tapar alguna que otra imperfección.
