Okay, so these aren’t cheap. There are dozens and dozens of cheaper clippers available — but these are built to last a lifetime. I’m done hacking away with cheap clippers and these cut cleanly, and quickly. The length of the clipper makes trimming a breeze, even sensitive kids nails are easy with nice clean cuts.

As the old adage goes, “you get what you pay for”. I have a lot of cheap nail clippers around the house but none were straight edge. I like a straight edge on my fingernails so finally searched on amazon to discover they do make these. I saw ones for $7 or less but chose this one as I am tired of having clippers only partially cut a cuticle or having to really press hard to cut a thickened nail. Hoped by paying more i would get a better product and it turns out i was right. I will admit these are smaller than i anticipated, hence the pictures i took to show you some size comparisons. The cutting edge is really sharp and makes clean cuts except some of my nails splintered a little next to the cut as the cutting surface is not wide enough for an entire nail unless on a pinky finger. The nail file is shockingly nice, a fine grit and great to even out the nail after cutting. However it is a little awkward to maneuver for filing at the right angle, but not a major negative. I guess the nails on my toes must be closer to the skin than most people’s as i still find it difficult to use these clippers or any others to get between the skin and the nail to clip, but that is not why i bought these anyways. For my fingernail usage, these are great!

I wanted some clippers with a straight blade so that I can achieve the trendy square shaped nails on my hands more easily.I’d not realised just how poor my previous curved bladed clippers were until I used these…..wow, they are fantastic!These clippers are ultra sharp, not clumsy or bulky & make trimming your nails so quick & easy.They aren’t cheap but the quality really does justify the price tag.I’ve not tried them on my toenails as yet but I’m very sure there won’t be a problem.Of course buying a straight blade that you can use on your hands & feet is more cost effective than having to buy two sets of clippers.I can highly recommend this product, really excellent clippers.They arrived very quickly from the seller, within a couple of days of purchasing.
