This “sea salt” spray is lightly scented, but not an obnoxious beachy smell like some other sprays I have used. I think this one smells more like just general hairspray scent, which dissipated pretty quickly, once it dried. It has a matte finish, but also feels a bit sticky to the touch. I have very long, fine, and naturally wavy hair, but gravity often pulls it to look more straight. This spray definitely added more wavy texture and volume to my hair. It holds the waves well throughout the day – my hair still looked the same many hours later and didn’t turn straight or flat. I would recommend this product for someone who wants to have the beachy wave hair look.

This is nice to use for texture to give a good messy look but does not provide good hold. My husband still had to use his usual hairspray in order to keep the style in place. There is also a fragrance to the spray but not your typical beachy salty scent. Although it smells nice I would’ve rather there been no fragrance. It is a nice bottle and easy to spray though.
